The Spit Fire Emerging Music Award

Entries for the inaugural Spit Fire Emerging Music Award are now open!
The Spit Press and Fire Ant Studios have teamed up to support new music from Sydney creatives with an amazing prize to be won. We want to help one awesome band or musician get into the recording studio to lay down their rad tunes.
Here’s how it works:
- Simply send a link to your demo track to info@spitpress.com along with a band image & bio (make sure to have SPIT FIRE in the subject field, just so we know).
- We’ll post the band shot in our Facebook album with a link to your demo track.
- The 3 bands with the most ‘Likes’ in the album will be judged by a panel of judges to determine a winner.
Here’s what you win:
- Bragging rights as the winner of the 2011 Spit Fire Emerging Music Award!
- 2 x days (9 hours each) in Fire Ant Studios to record your track/s
- 1 x day mixing session
- A double page spread in The Spit Press
- A place in the line up of a Spit Press music event
